Gas wars: suburbs revenge?

This report is several days old...which, with today's gas market, could be very old & inaccurate news.

It seems like the suburbs is regaining its lead.

On Thursday evening, gas along Lake Cook ws $1.77.

On Friday Morning, along 79th & State street, $1.79 was the norm, with the BP at 76th & State maintaining $1.71.

So we'll see what happens Monday..

EDIT: The Marathon at 79th & King dropped to $1.76, while BP at 76th ^& State rose(!) up to $1.75. It seems to be a clear sign that Gas prices are leveling out overall, and Chatham is losing its price edge. We'll try to update on Monday...
