We have seen the legendary Edna's close their doors and I expect that we will lose one of our soul food restaurants.<br /><br />Captain's has suffered since they opened from a lack of parking and I feel it was overlooked when the discussion of the new Whitney Young Library took place.<br /><br />Secondly,I understand the owners wanting to run a quality restaurant but their menu in this economy is outdated. They have to work on presenting dishes that are attractive to a younger audience. <br /><br />I'm having a hard time understanding why we can't see "neuvo" soulfood with the proliferation of culinary schools opening.
