Chicago Aldermen want to ban mobile billboards

Another item deemed bannable by Ald. Bob Fioretti. Story from WBBM-TV.

  1. Not a lot of thought went into this. Not only are there huge illegal wall signs in this ward that the alderman knowingly turns a blind eye to, but now the city will spend thousands on litigation that they can't win. Ever hear of equal protection? The first amendment?

  2. Mobile billboards are a cost efficient way of advertising. I do not understand why they should be banned. The trucks are moving around anyways, why not add a little creativity to them.
