Ald. Lyle on Good Day Chicago

She started her appearance discussing this cruise that supports our nation's Historically Black College and the "swine flu". In fact the swine flu had put a dent in her plans since they had to do a reroute especially since she was supposed to go to Mexico.

She mentions that everyone is taking precautions with this swine flu and that there are those who aren't taking it seriously and those who are taking it too seriously that is in a virtual panic about the flu. Still she wants people to be cautious about the swine flu.

She also discussed summer programs for the children in the ward especially this track & field program that has been discussed with Ald. Cochran of the 21st. She alludes to the housing bubble and the lack of space for new construction, however, there are young entrepreneurs in the ward opening up restaurants, bakeries, and stores. She added that there were no space for big box businesses but there are stores that can use our support.
