I'm so sorry that Karen Lewis - the current head of the Chicago Teacher's Union - has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had recently been admitted to the hospital with a "serious illness". As a result she won't be running for mayor of Chicago.I'm sure this news disappoints many who wanted to support Ms. Lewis, but many hope she will return to good health.
