CTA Fare Hike May Be Coming After All
This is what rising fuel costs and the promise of free rides for seniors has caused the CTA to offer us at some point this year. Yeah the CTA got more state aid unfortunately the caveat was to allow seniors free rides. Well what can we do if it's not that it'll be the cost of fuel. Story from channel 2.

Nothing about this surprises me. When Blago forced the free rides provision, I figured that a fare hike of some amount would be the price for the rest of us down the line.
