As much distaste I have for Meeks and his scheme, perhaps we Naperville residents should be protesting. If one can believe the numbers in the Trib/Herald articles, 17k is spent on kids at New Trier, 14.5k on Arlington Heights, 10k on CPS, yet only 8.6k on Naperville. That's even less than the 9k spent on the disaster known as U46 (Elgin). Yet our property taxes are sky high compared to comparably valued houses in Arlington Heights.
If Naperville can educate kids for less than 9k, I would hope the CPS could get by with 10k.
