The IRS says almost $46 million is going unclaimed so far by Illinois residents eligible to receive economic stimulus checks.
Number of Illinois residents who have yet to claim economic stimulus payments: 153,000.
That number comes from the IRS, via Governor Blagojevich's office, which says unclaimed stimulus checks in Illinois add up to 45 point 9 million dollars.
