An extreme L makeover...

Yeah I don't think I like how the new L cars might look. I guess I've been so used to the ones I see out there now! Then again I like that there are going to be some enhancements such as plasma screens for riders that will give them alerts with regards to service. Cameras that will allow an operator to keep tabs on what's going on aboard the train. Then there's this aspect I like...

The new cars are to be fully handicapped-accessible, and they'll also be powered by a new type of propulsion system that should provide a smoother and potentially faster ride.

Huberman said the L could reach speeds of 60 mph to 70 mph once slow zones on the rails are fixed.
Well something to look forward to much faster express service. Do you want to know where I'm coming from?

Check this out!!! The trains I rode back and forth didn't seem fast enough.
