Put Wal-Mart oasis in city 'food desert'
This is an old piece of commentary from the Sun-Times on December 14, 2007. Read it and then answer this question, is this area of the south side a food desert? I think that residents of this area have plenty of places to go to get fresh foods instead of salty and sugary snacks.
