Comptroller says no money for politician pay hikes

Well if you've been following this how state legislative pay raise story well then you might be OK with this development. That is if you're opposed to it:
Comptroller Dan Hynes sent a message Monday that state lawmakers should not yet go shopping for fatter wallets.

That's because the new state budget did not provide any money for the potential 7.5 percent pay raises that could kick in next summer, Hynes said. "We cannot implement the pay raises without an appropriation," Hynes said.
