Chicago High Schools Miss Mark

But Chicago's high school scores are a different story. The district quietly released those Friday afternoon. Seventy-percent of Chicago public high school students failed to meet state standards in reading. An even greater percentage missed the mark in math.

This is the third consecutive year that high school scores have slipped.
