Aldi's the latest tenant at Chatham Market

Story posted here earlier today!

A couple of quick thoughts:
  • We will now have several grocers less than a mile from each other: Jewel's, Food4Less and now Aldi.
  • Will this new addition increase pressure FOR a Wal-Mart?
  • Is Aldi over-expanding, or at the right pace? They just opened on near 74th & State street within the past couple of years, among others.
P.S. I know the company logo and sign say "Aldi", but in Chicago, it's "Aldi's", just like "Walgreen's", "Dominick's" and "Jewel's"
