Concerned Citizens of Chatham Facebook page

You know I noticed in my various traffic counters, either the SiteMeter or FeedJit, I saw an incoming link from Facebook. I did some clicking to see where they were coming from. It would have been in vain if it had turned out that this was someone's profile.

It turns out that there is a Facebook page that advertises itself as a forum for residents of the Chatham community to express their concerns. They've already been linking to not only this blog but also to the Chatham Avalon Park blog in addition to Chicago Breaking News (Tribune), Citizen Newspaper, and even to the Chesterfield Community Council website.

Another venue for Chatham residents to take advantage of this information superhighway and build an online community. Just as much as I hoped this blog would serve about the same purpose. There's a Ning group for 6th Ward residents, a blog for Chatham-Avalon Park, and now a proper Facebook page for the Chatham neighborhood.

Of course that's in addition to this blog and the corresponding Facebook page which currently has only two members. LOL

Other than that I can only hope that I have new readers and commentors.
