Progress Illinois has the story on some behind the scenes lobbying by Wal-Mart regarding building up new stores within the city. Even uses a couple of quotes that were published in two recent entries from this blog, especially the one of a recent e-mail from a local block club president announcing her support of Wal-Mart.
BTW, JP Paulus actually blogged about the Wal-Mart robocall survey. ;)
