The problem is that the restaurants, clothing stores and other good stores won't come unless Walmart opens. Thats why we need to support it.Heh, I was hoping that we wouldn't see another anonymous post although we know who it is. At least by nickname. ;)

Any thoughts from you [on Wal-Mart]? What businesses would you like to see at Chatham Market, either in addition to or instead of Wal-Mart?

Well the comment that other businesses will not come to Chatham Market unless Walmart opens is false. Other businesses have inquired about opening unfortunately with the bad economy several entities had to hold up expansion plans. There are plenty of entities who could and will eventually open in our community.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, we must look at the total area and see what is best. We have to take into account that we will have a large church opening at the old Soft Sheen site. So the traffic will be a major issue.
