Ward meeting, Chgo 2016 meeting & let's not forget about the 6th Ward picnic!

Tomorrow is the aldermanic meeting at Northern Trust Bank located @ 7801 S. State Street (near 79th and State just off the Dan Ryan Expressway, very convenient if you're using public transportation). Anyway this is what's expected to be on the agenda on Thursday:

• Representative from 6th District Police
• Lisa Thompson Bennett, Atty. General Madigan’s Office 
• Spencer Leak, Jr. and Brenda Shariff (re: Plans for the property at 7801 S. Cottage Grove)

Also another meeting but this time regarding Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid

The Chicago 2016 Olympics Committee will be at the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. South Shore Dr. on Wednesday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. This is your opportunity to hear directly from Chicago 2016 leadership about the City’s plan for the Games. If you have questions about the plans or financing of the Olympics, please plan to attend.

There's a lot of controversy about that so it should be worth your interest, especially if you're concerned about where you money is going or even what Mayor Daley signed in Switzerland.
