Chatham 1998-2008

This is a video of a drive around Chatham. Reconizable changes in Chatham was that old store (used to be home to a well known black owned shoe store, Kam & Nate's) on 87th and Cottage Grove that was razed in the last two or three years is now home to a new bank branch. Other than that we see scenes from 79th Street, Cottage Grove, Cole Park, King Drive and Chatham side streets such as Indiana or probably Michigan or Wabash.

If you see anything from this video worth mentioning please leave a comment.

A video similar to this is probably something this blog should do at some point as well. Although we can't go backwards in time and see how Chatham looks now can we.

  1. This is a good video. There are also several pre-You-Tube videos floating around. I believe the only problem is that they need to be converted to the internet media format
