Draw or slight edge for Chicago and Rio?

CapFax offers a round-up of stories about the 2016 Olympic bid especially as it pertains to Chicago who are among four finalists to host the summer games.

On this subject there were two Olympic oversight ordinances in the city council:
Two competing ordinances for Olympic oversight are in Chicago City Council. One month from today the city learns if it’s the 2016 host city.

Mayor Richard Daley’s ordinance gives a city council committee additional oversight if the 2016 Games land in Chicago.

Alderman Manny Flores says that’s not enough. His ordinance gives the city’s inspector general and a local civic organization power to watch the Olympic books, progress and ethics.
Over at Clout City there was a post about this ordinance. The Daley proposal was said to be a watered down version of Ald. Flores' proposal.

Question: OK I may not have posted enough about the Olympics, but perhaps I need to pose this question. How might the 6th Ward benefit from the Olympics?
