Check out the previous post on this building here.
I decided to take a stroll around Chatham on Wednesday afternoon along Cottage Grove & 79th Street. I would like to discuss my other observations at a later date. But I just had to post about this.
I'm sure there was not a set date to complete this project and I posted about this development back in February, but why is it this project doesn't look close to done. It almost looks abandoned although I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation for it.
The entrance here well I would expect it to be a bit more welcoming than it currently is. Even if it's not currently ready for occupation at this time.
Then I got another shot of this place from Champlain Avenue. Perhaps I'm not showing to much, but then 79th in the afternoon doesn't seem safe, unfortunately. Paper in the windows of an unfinished asset.

Mr. Hall the owner of this building and several others along 79th has had many people conditional agree to occupy and have backed out. He is going to finish the building once he gets solid commitments. he has committed to not settle for restaurants, beauty shops and convenience stores but professional services.
