OPEN BLOG: Election 2010

At various points in the brief history of this blog, I have attempted to follow politics from virtually all levels of our government (state, county, city, federal). Sometimes the level or frequency of this coverage varies. What happens in Springfield from transit bailout to the impeachment and removal of Rod Blagojevich has gotten play on this blog from time to time.

Next year there will be an election. We will election statewide executive officers including Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, & Comptroller. Those offices in addition to people running for judge, Water Reclamation District, County offices either executive or commissioner, and of course state legislative seats in Springfield. Oh and I forgot that Roland Burris' US Senate seat (which was also held by the current President of the United States) is up for election next year

QUESTION: How many of you plan to volunteer for any political candidate? If so why did you chose a particular candidate to volunteer for. Leave a comment in this post or you may send an e-mail!
