  2. I agree Adonis and there are questions in my mind as to whether Alderman Brookins and the Mayor are being totally honest. Alderman Brookins has stated that there are no jobs in his ward but within a half mile redius of the proposed Walmart there are 300-500 jobs spread out among 5 businesses. Secondly he has stated retailers such as Costco had no intetested in expanding in the City of Chicago but Costco is opening a store on the Westside.

The mayor is "playing" the faith community in an attempt to make him look good and the labor organizations look like the enemy. Also it leaves a question about the "Legacy Project", a developmenent that would be adjacent to Walmart, that both he and Alderman Brookins have supported. Sounds like the project is in jepordy and leaves the question has the church taken money from Walmart?
