Corner Side Yard: How "Black = Urban" Ends

Tuesday we'll be voting for of course offices in the state and federally as we will vote in a US Senator especially. Then after Tuesday's election we will be thinking about next year's municipal elections. It'll be time to turn in petitions and seeing how many candidates are able to remain on the ballot for the election next February.

I would like for you to consider this post from the Corner Side Yard as they discuss influence of Blacks on urban politics. Do you think Black influence on Chicago politics is on the wane?
