CBS Chicago: Englewood school plan still a tough sell

[VIDEO] So there was a meeting with regards to the school plan for Englewood. As we know four high schools will close in Englewood and in 2019 a new school will be built and open for freshmen students. CBS 2 Chicago was there and had this story Wednesday night.

I was getting some hints of what happened at this meeting through Twitter. Will share a couple below.

Asiaha Butler (sorry for previous tweet misspelling) and four other members of the steering committee make it clear they never voted for the closing of ANY school. How many members of steering committee? Is cps community support falling apart?

Hope teacher says he is part of the fabric of englewood community. Says he was excited about new School for englewood because wants the best for his students, but wants his current students to be able to attend.
