Capitol Fax: Harith Augustus coverage roundup

Rich Miller does a round-up of all stories statewide, locally, and in some instances nationally talking about the police shooting of Harith Augustus in South Shore on Saturday. And quotes a few mayoral aspirants Lori Lightfoot, Garry McCarthy, and Troy LaRaviere.
I had been real tempted to show again the footage from police bodycams of this incident, but I'll just refer to you to this morning's post which shows what you might have seen on ABC 7. Somewhere out there is mostly unedited video of what happened with Mr. Augustus!

I would encourage you all to - at least for those of you who want to know what happened - is to see the video provided by Chicago Police and see for yourself what happened. The last thing I want to do is continue showing the last moments of life for any person.

This almost brings to mind what happened with Laquan McDonald. A video of which had been linked here and with the same reservations that I had no interest in watching a man about to be shot & killed in real time.
