I'll put this on here since I've mentioned Bill Campbell on this blog. Campbell was well known for his appearances on WLS-TV or ABC 7 Chicago up until 2010 when he retired from the station. It was noted on this blog in 2017 that he was recovering from a stroke and any help that could be contributed to his convalescence was then noted on his former employer WLS [VIDEO].
Saw this at CapFax yesterday. He already announced his intention to resign his seat in January, and in the letter you will see below noted from yesterday it's effective immediately. The 32nd District state house seat is now open.

You might have seen this graphic at Concerned Citizens of Chatham. I can't believe it's that time of year again where we must set our clocks one hour ahead. Daylight Savings Time is back already...
Well tonight the cribbing from CapFax continues Congresswoman Robin Kelly is the new Chair of the state Democratic Party. She effectively succeeds former state house Speaker Michael J. Madigan. Kelly defeats 8th Ward Alderman Michelle Harris this evening.
There were a number of items coming out of the jockeying over the weekend which comes from whether or not as an federal elected official if the Congresswoman was eligible to become the chair of the party. There were also questions over whether or not the Congresswoman as Chair could raise or spend soft money. She even acknowledged that she won't be able to do much with soft campaign money.Robin Kelly wins DPI chair https://t.co/umnh4hHwkV
