I'll put this on here since I've mentioned Bill Campbell on this blog. Campbell was well known for his appearances on WLS-TV or ABC 7 Chicago up until 2010 when he retired from the station. It was noted on this blog in 2017 that he was recovering from a stroke and any help that could be contributed to his convalescence was then noted on his former employer WLS [VIDEO].
I first found out about this on the twitter page Vanished Chicagoland and found this article from Robert Feder's blog.
Bill Campbell, longtime host of the public affairs show Chicagoing on WLS-TV Channel 7, passed away yesterday. He was 70. I remembered watching his editorials during the late movies during the 1970s and 1980s. He was a nice man. R.I.P. pic.twitter.com/aKiyCwU5kt

I saw a post from a Bennett-Shedd group on FB that referred to Mr. Campbell as an alumni of Bennett School it's also noted especially on the Feder blog that he's also an alum of Harlan High School.
GO BADGERS - or if you're new school GO P.R.I.D.E.
