The Subway Sandwich shop at 83rd State posted a sign that they would be open 24/7. This action is just another slap in the face by the developer and the store operators. They were not welcomed by the community in the first place expcept by a handful of members of GCA organization and now want to stay open all night when other businesses that formerly stayed open 24/7 have adjusted their hours citing lack of business and community safety concerns.
Is this a last ditch effort to save this place? Personally, I think Potbelly would have been better for our neighborhood(GCA hear that)? Will this bring additional crime to our community given its proximaty to the expressway?
