Tired of renting cars for the day when you only need it for a few hours?
Want the benefits of a hybrid car for short trips?
Representatives from iGo Car Sharing will be present at each meeting to discuss the benefits of car sharing and bringing an iGo location to the 6th Ward.
Pick up handouts, ask questions, bring a friend.
Also be advised that iGo is now part of Enterprise Car Sharing in turn owned by Enterprise Rent-a-Car and perhaps with there being some Enterprise establishments nearby iGo cars will be available at those locations.

Congrats to blogger JP Paulus, who first talked to me, as a GCA member about Zip Car, when the Red Line El project was about to kick in. I, in turn, want to thank Alderman Sawyer for letting me tug on his jacket: I asked him to investigate both Zip Car and I-Go for our area on behalf of GCA member requests. My husband and I found Zip Car and I-Go to be better rental deals for three to four hour, mini van or SUV rentals because we don't have one. Never let it be said that like minds can't make things happen. Folks, heed the saying when we get them–-use it or lose it! You can't beat their value for short trips–-you don't pay gas or insurance, you just rent the vehicle and zoom, zoom!
