Annual Black scholarship fair for high school seniors

The 100 Black Men of Chicago Inc. will sponsor its 6th Annual College Scholarship Fair for high school students tomorrow at the University of Illinois-Chicago on the West Side.

The free fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Forum at UIC, located at the corner of Roosevelt Road and Halsted Street. College admissions will be awarded on site along with up to 1,500 scholarships, according to fair organizers, who expect up to 6,000 students to attend the event and meet with representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities.

Students are expected to attend from over 155 high schools across the Chicago area and five surrounding Midwest states. The fair is open to all high school juniors and seniors.
