Today's edition featured guest Clerk of the Cook County Circuit Court Dorothy Brown who primarily (well I did start watching the show at least 10 minutes late) talked about helping those who have had any brush with the law to get their records either expunged or sealed. In addition Brown and Ald. Lyle discussed programs that can help get our youths off the street and doing something construction. Especially getting them into summer jobs.
An interesting part of this discussion is how they discuss the AR Leak Funeral Home and how they are burying more and more of our youth. Most of the time they bury them for free because many of the families aren't able to pay the funeral expenses. Very sad, we should find ways to keep that from having to be the case!
You have another opportunity to watch this program this month as it also aires on the 3rd Thurday and Friday at 6 PM and 1 PM respectively. The show typical airs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday and Friday of every month at 6 PM and 1 PM respectively. Catch the program on Channel 19 Chicago Access Network or CAN-TV.
