The man was arguing with two other people inside a home in the 600 block of East 87th Street when one of the people pulled a handgun and shot him about 2 a.m., police said.
Miguel Russell, 30, of 412 S. Austin Blvd. in Oak Park, was pronounced dead on the scene, a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.
Russell was shot in his head.
The gunmen fled after the shooting and were not in police custody as of late Thursday.
