It's been up since October of last year. I've stopped using it since I wasn't gaining any fans and was unsure of how to utilize it. In addition to the other community Facebook pages I've found especially Concerned Citizen's of Chatham and Chicago 6th Ward fb page. I have both linked in the sidebar.
BTW, I also discovered the fb page for the 6th Ward Junior Democrats so they're even utilizing Facebook pages now!
Anyway, I've been utilizing this page off an on to post articles of interest that I for whatever reason choose not to post on this blog. With an added innovation, these links are also posted to Twitter without me having to use and third party service to tweet an article, blog, video, or even use a service to shorten the link.
I also have discussion forums there to if you don't mind starting a discussion. I guess I could ask if you wouldn't mind becoming a fan of the 6th Ward Blog on Facebook in addition to becoming a follower of this blog here. And if you have an article of interest please feel free to share on the FB page as well.
BTW, I would like to do a discussion forum or an internet bulletin board. Would like some comments on that too.
