6th Ward videos

Would you like to rate them? Today we look at videos (via Early & Often) from Ald. Lyle in her re-election bid and one of her opponent in February, Richard Wooten.

Let's start with the incumbent who advertised her accomplishments such as building houses and parks, additions to schools (such as Deneen right of the expressway), attracted both big and small businesses, created more youth programs, and increased the number of police patrols in the neighborhood. Duration is 30 seconds for this one.

Her opponent Richard Wooten has a video of roughly two minutes talking about what values he wants to restore to the 6th Ward. In fact he did another video announcing a revamp of his website and now the original address @ http://www.chicago6thward.com/ now redirects to http://restoringvalues.com/.

Wooten calls on new leadership that focuses on family values, community safety, increasing property values, and the value of our elderly and their wisdom. He also discusses raising his family in Chatham where he says he's gained an appreciation for a solid education as well as a safe & secure community. Also notes his work with the GADC as an advisor.

What do you think of these two vids?

ALSO, I saw an FB posting on Burundi Davis' profile from January 2, 2011 that says that he is no longer running for 6th Ward Alderman. So far the first withdrawal since petitions were filed in this race.
