On Sunday, John Ruberry of Marathon Pundit visited the neighborhood of Englewood to snap shots of the ruins throughout the community. His pic above is the Masonic Temple near 64th/Green a building that is consider endangered and who knows if anyone is willing to spend money to restore this building.
However there are some houses in Englewood looking for TLC especially greystones and other classic houses that you may find there. Who knows with some of the vacant lots in the residential areas perhaps in the future a developer or property owner can leave their own architectural legacy as has been done in Chatham.
